چکیده

An exchange or payment protocol is considered fair if neither of the two parties exchanging items or payment at any time during the protocol has a signiicant advantage over the other entity. Fairness is an important property for electronic commerce. This paper identiies a design framework based on existing fair protocols which use ooine trusted third parties, but with convertible signatures as the underlying mechanism. We show that in principle any convertible signature scheme can be used to design a fair payment protocol. A speciic protocol is detailed based on RSA undeniable signatures which is more eecient than other similar fair payment schemes. Furthermore, in this protocol the nal signature obtained is always an ordinary RSA signature.

Untraceable Fair Network Payment Protocols with Off-Line TTP

A fair network payment protocol plays an important role in electronic commerce. The fairness concept in payments can be illustrated as that two parties (e.g. customers and merchants) exchange the electronic items (e.g. electronic money and goods) with each other in a fair manner that no one can gain advantage over the other even if there are malicious actions during exchanging process. Practical Implementations of a Non-disclosure Fair Contract Signing Protocol

Contract signing is a practical application of the fair exchange of digital signatures. This application used to be realized by directly adopting the results of the fair exchange of signatures, which do not completely meet the requirements of the signing of a secret contract. The assistance of a trusted third party (TTP) and some cryptographic technology are required to allow two parties to exc...

New Fair Payment Protocols

Fair payment protocol is designed to guarantee fairness in electronic purchasing, that is, no party can falsely deny involvement in the transaction or having sent/received the specific items/payment. In this paper we first present an efficient fair payment protocol providing invisibility of TTP, timeliness, and standard RSA signatures as the final non-repudiation evidences. Then we present a se...

Fair Exchange of Digital Signatures using RSA-based CEMBS and Offline STTP

One of the essential security services needed to safeguard online transactions is fair exchange. In fair exchange protocols two parties can exchange their signatures in a fair manner, so that either each party gain the other’s signature or no one obtain anything useful. This paper examines security solutions for achieving fair exchange. It proposes new security protocols based on the "Certified...
